Lynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Nurse, and has been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 1995. Lynn has a diverse background and range of experience which equip her to approach the individual person from a mind-body-soul perspective.

Lynn received her nursing degree from Broome Community College, her BS degree in psychology from Liberty University, and her MA in counseling degree of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She graduated with honors and was awarded membership in the Chi Sigma Iota and Mu Tau Beta honor societies. She has varied work experiences from over 21 years in the nursing field, over two years internship at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Counseling Center (in Charlotte, NC), a year of post-graduate work at the Rapha-Charter Pines center in Charlotte, and over 14 years of private counseling experience. Lynn’s private practice includes working with individuals, couples, families and adolescents, as well as teaching classes in local churches and public speaking to local community organizations.

Lynn is dedicated and passionate about helping individuals of all ages overcome their life challenges, with compassion, professional guidance, education, and caring support. She desires to empower people to claim fullness of their dreams and full creative potential by working with their beliefs, emotions, body and spirit. She particularly enjoys working with womens’ issues and marriage and family counseling.

Lynn has been married since 1981 and has two grown sons and several pets.
