Linda's calling to the counseling field occurred when, as a pastor's wife, she began to find herself deeply drawn to those who were in emotional pain.
Today, Linda has prepared herself extensively through post graduate training to help those with stress related issues and dissociative disorders. As a Christian, Linda relies on the healing biblical principles in her counseling sessions. Her strong Christian background includes attending a Christian college, being a Bible study teacher, leading women's ministry programs at a local and national level, and being married to a pastor.
Linda received her Master of Arts degree from Azusa Pacific University in 1982. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, past president of the Orange County Chapter for the Study of Dissociation, taught at the graduate school level, supervised counseling trainees and interns for over 15 years and has been the Clinical Director of Marriage and Family Matters, Inc., for more than 15 years.
Alongside her therapy practice, Linda speaks to business and religious community groups on various topics. Over 500 women have attended her classes on abuse issues. |
