The Mission of the Bayridge Family Center is to be a leading counselling facility designed to promote interpersonal growth through the integration of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual development.

Bayridge is committed to high standards. A minimum Master's level counselling psychology degree or equivalent is required for all our therapists. We also interview prospective team members extensively to find professionals with solid clinical skills and a diversity of experience.

Our team is composed of Medical Doctors, Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Pastoral Counsellors, Addiction Specialists, and Child and Adolescent Counsellors.

Wendy earned a Master's of Divinity in Counselling from Tyndale Seminary. She is an Associate Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and the Ontario branch (OAMFT).For over twenty years, Wendy has been involved in counselling in multi-ethnic settings. She has offered group therapy and individual addictions counselling using invitational and traditional 12 Step interventions. Wendy is highly skilled at creating a therapeutic relationship conducive to change for individuals and couples. She truly understands that sharing one’s story and trusting another is often difficult to do. As an ordained minister and part of a clergy couple herself, she is keenly aware of their specific needs.

Wendy has developed and taught personal growth seminars in the areas of life skills, parenting, and employability competencies. As a MBTI Practitioner, she recognizes how personality affects our daily lives in the workplace and at home. She is committed to her own personal growth. She appropriately blends her life experiences and professional skills in a compassionate manner that invites clients to safely heal and move forward in their lives.

Married with three grown children, Wendy still finds time to bake treats for family and friends!
