Dr. Mitchell began his local practice in June 2006 and currently has offices in North Dallas and Grapevine, Texas. In addition to private practice, he enjoys his position as an adjunct faculty member at Dallas Theological Seminary in the counseling department.
Prior to the move to Frisco in 2006, Dr. Mitchell was an active duty officer and a psychologist in the United States Navy from 2002 to 2006. While in the Navy, Dr. Mitchell served as a psychologist at The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for two years and then transferred to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), an aircraft carrier stationed in Everett, Washington, for the remainder of his service. He enjoyed a variety of experiences including training at a world-class hospital in NNMC and two deployments on board the USS Abraham Lincoln. |
